Friday's Digital Freebie

I have stumbled upon a great site with lots of freebies!!! I went downloading crazy once I found this site. Tons of Photoshop Brushes and lots of different styles bound to appeal to any personality. My favorite was the swirls brushes. If you click "Designs" under categories you will find them there. There is also a Swirl II that is listed on the home page under Popular Now. I would definitely recommend this list for all those digital scrapbookers out there!

Ribbon Layout

Here is a layout I made using ribbon. I thought I would post it for the contest. I saw this layout done in Baby Steps 2005 by Cindy Smith. I thought it was so cute and had to make the layout for Haley's scrapbook. It is one of my favorites. As you can tell I love the Baby Steps book. I have gotten so many great ideas for layouts from that book!!

So now that I have been trying out digital scrapbooking I was wondering how I would get them printed. So I thought I would do some searching on the internet and make a post about what I have found. Please keep in mind that I have not tried any of these printing options yet. I just wanted to give you one place to look for comparison purposes. Important information to note about the club:
*All kits are mailed the beginning of every month. There is no need to subscribe each month. Your kit will automatically be delievered every month until you cancel the subscription.

*All cancellations must be done by the 20th of the previous month. For example, if you cancel your subscription by March 20th you will not receive the April kit. To cancel your subscription to MemoryWorks Express please email memoriestoscrap@hotmail.com. Please provide your name with cancellation in order for it to be applied correctly. If you would like to subscribe again, no problem just come back to http://memoriestoscrap.blogspot.com and sign up thru Paypal.

*You will receive an invoice on the 25th of every month through PayPal to pay for your subscription. Payment is due by the first of the month. You do not need to have a PayPal account.

* Due to the popularity of our kits, subscriptions are selling out fast. There's a possibility that the current month kit will be backordered. If you subscribe and the current monthly kit subscriptions are completely sold out, your subscription will be put on our backorder/waitlist and will be automatically subscribed for the next available month.

*If you don't want to miss another monthly kit, we encourage you to subscribe as soon as possible so that you can put your name on the waiting list to receive the next available month. You don't need to wait until March to sign up for the March kit – sign up right away so your name is on our waiting list. Again, subscriptions are selling out fast and all available subscriptions will go first to those on our waiting list.

*You will be notified by email within 24 hours after the 1st of the next month to inform you if you will receive the current month kit or if you are on the backorder/waitlist for the next available spot. If you happen to be put on the backorder/waitlist, your subscription will be stored in the system and will be automatically subscribed for the next available spot (this will most likely be within the next one to two months after you're added to the wait list.) Once you are off the waitlist you will continue to receive a kit every month until you cancel the subscription.

I have been getting a newsletter everyday from Scrapgirls and in every newsletter there is a free digital download. I have gotten a lot of cute things from them and the best part is that I didn't have to pay for any of them. All you have to do is go to their website http://www.scrapgirls.com/ and sign up for their newsletter and everyday in your email box there will be free downloads just waiting for you!!

They also share layout ideas, tips and tricks. This is one newsletter I would recommend for all the digital scrapbookers out there!! It's worth a try!
